A 100 metres-long kozunak Easter bread delighted this year the residents and guests of Vratsa, who celebrated Easter together in the central square, the northwestern Bulgarian Municipality said on its Facebook page Sunday.

The festive programme began with Easter greetings from the secretary of the Metropolitanate of Vratsa, father Nikolay. All the attendees received pieces from the 100 metres-long kozunak.

A nearly 100 metres-long kozunak was also prepared and distributed among Vratsa residents last Easter.

In the north-central town of Lovech, some 400 kozunaks were prepared for the celebration. Deputy mayors Tsvetelin Vinchev and Dr Aldin Nachkov distributed a total of 400 free kozunaks and 400 Easter eggs Sunday, the Lovech Municipality press centre said.
