Bulgarian computer animation Meko Kazano, directed by Anri Kulev will be presented in Bratislava on November 6 2024 (Wednesday), within the initiative Days of Bulgarian Cinema in Slovakia, the Bulgarian Cultural Union in Bratislava said Tuesday.
Meko Kazano is a 2022 Bulgarian computer animation directed by Anri Kulev, based on the 1979 fairy tale of the same name, written by Valeri Petrov. The music in the film was composed by Lyubomir Denev and the songs were performed by the band Ahat, the Bulgarian Cultural Union wrote in the invitation, adding that on November 6 the animation will be screened first at the Bulgarian Hristo Botev Secondary School at 1 pm local time, and then at the Lumiere Bratislava cinema at 5 pm local time.
The animated film will be presented with original audio in Bulgarian and with English subtitles.
After the screening, the audience will have the opportunity to meet and talk with the director Anri Kulev, who is one of the special guests of the Bulgarian Film Festival in Bratislava.
The Board of Trustees of the Bulgarian Cultural Union also noted that the Festival of Bulgarian Cinema was organized under the auspices of the Bulgarian Ambassador to Slovakia, Vasil Petkov, and with the financial support of the Fund for Support of the Culture of National Minorities in Slovakia.
