For the third time on Friday, an air raid alert was announced in Odesa due to the threat of a missile attack from Crimea, Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov said on Telegram.

The air raid sirens were sounded at 22:58 hrs.

Local authorities are urging residents of Odesa and the region to take refuge in bomb shelters.

BTA Director General Kiril Valchev is in Odessa in connection with the upcoming events in Odessa on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Bessarabian Bulgarians. The event is organized by BTA’s Press Club in Odesa with the support of the Consulate General of Bulgaria.
