First Bulgarians Evacuated from Beirut Land in Sofia, Authorities Express Readiness to Organize Second Flight
"A total of 89 of our compatriots were evacuated on today's flight," Prime Minister Glavchev said.
Travelling to the State of Israel and staying in the country should be avoided, except in case of emergency, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry says on its website. Citizens arriving in or departing from Israel via Ben Gurion Airport are advised to approach their airline for information about possible flight time changes.
In connection with latest developments in the Middle East, the EU Aviation Safety Agency recommends to airlines not to operate within the air spaces of Lebanon and Israel at all flight levels until October 31, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry says.
