Sofia Municipality crews removed Russian flags placed by unidentified people on light poles along Tsarigradsko Chaussee, a thoroughfare in Sofia, Mayor Vassil Terziev wrote on his Facebook page on Saturday. The south arc of the Sofia Ring Road will be checked for more of these flags, he added.

Footage from traffic cameras is being analyzed to ascertain the facts and identify the offenders so that adequate action can be taken, Terziev said.
