site.btaUkraine's Flag Hoisted outside Skopje's Defence Ministry on Eve of Russian Invasion's Second Anniversary

The Ukrainian flag was hoisted in front of the Republic of North Macedonia’s Defence Ministry building on Wednesday in support of Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty on the eve of the second anniversary of the Russian invasion - February 24, the Ministry said.

The Ukrainian flag will fly outside the Defence Ministry alongside the flag of the Republic of North Macedonia until Monday. The flag hoisting ceremony was attended by Defence Minister Slavjanka Petrovska and Ukraine's Ambassador to North Macedonia Larisa Dir.

The Government of the Republic of North Macedonia has taken 12 decisions on the provision of military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Ukrainian troops have been trained at the Krivolak Military Training Center. At the NATO-Ukraine Council meeting held in Brussels last week, Defence Minister Petrovska confirmed that support for Kyiv would continue, her Ministry recalled.
