On June 24, 2024, on the Holy Spirit holiday of Montana, the National Press Club of BTA opened its doors in the regional city. The opening was celebrated by Metropolitan Daniil of Vidin and Metropolitan Seraphim of Nevrokop with Holy Water.

The ribbon was cut by BTA Director General Kiril Valchev, Montana Mayor Zlatko Zhivkov, BNR General Director Milen Mitev and the regional governor Ivaylo Antonov. The event was attended by national representatives from the region, directors of state units and cultural institutions, journalists and citizens.

With the opening of the new home of journalism in Montana, BTA now has press clubs in all regional cities in the country.

In his speech, Kiril Valchev emphasised that the network of correspondents and national press clubs of BTA, distributed in Bulgaria and among Bulgarians outside its borders, ensures an equal life in the news, connectivity of the Bulgarian community and true knowledge.

In Montana, BTA has had its correspondents for about half a century, and in different periods of time they were Hristo Vatovski, Hari Haralampiev, Borislav Kostov, Emi Kirilova and Tsvetana Evgenieva. Since 2003, the correspondent has been Tsvetomir Tsvetkov, and since 2024, Milena Ostrovska.
