The Bulgarian News Agency was reincarnated in Ruse, said BTA Director General Kiril Valchev, after the oldest Bulgarian media opened its press club in the city on October 3, 2021 - the feast day of Dionysius the Areopagite, whose name symbolizes reincarnation. The press club's opening also coincided with the closing of the 60th edition of the international March Music Days.

BTA's new home is in the iconic building of the former joint-stock savings company Girdap, which was also the first private bank in Bulgaria, founded in 1881. It is located in the city centre on 2 Rayko Daskalov Street, next to the Palace of Justice. The location is a favorite meeting place for Ruse's residents, known as "The Clock".

The press club was blessed by Metropolitan Naum of Ruse and priests. Among the official guests of the event were Ruse Mayor Pencho Milkov, Deputy Regional Governor Sinan Hebibov, Chairman of the Municipal Council Ivo Pazardzhiev, opera prima Krasimira Stoyanova, representatives of institutions and journalists. The idea of the press club in Ruse is to serve as the venue for communication between the media and representatives of the fields of business, politics, culture, sports, for organizing press conferences, discussions, exhibitions, as well as for citizens to send messages.
