BTA's national press club Dobrich was opened on a significant date - on September 25, 2021, the day Southern Dobruja was returned to Bulgaria in 1940. Back then, BTA reported on the memorable September days with the first announcements about the liberation of Southern Dobruja, the conclusion of the Treaty of Craiova and the reactions around the world, about the thanksgiving service held at the St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral and the joy of all Bulgarians.

BTA Director General Kiril Valchev presented to the Mayor of Dobrich, Yordan Yordanov, the Agency's news bulletins covering these first news, noting that with the opening of BTA's press club, the Dobrudja region is regaining its rightful place in the information exchange in Bulgaria.

Together with the Mayor, Regional Governor Vasil Karapanchev, representatives of institutions, BTA's new beginning in Dobrich was attended by the Tokyo-2020 Olympic boxing champion Stoyka Krasteva and young virtuoso pianists Hasan and Ibrahim Ignatov.

The national press club in Dobrich is located in an emblematic place - in the building of the Organ Hall, opened in 1975, which is now being renovated under a European programme.
