On October 28, 2022, BTA opened a national press club in Bucharest, Romania. The press club has a central location.
The event was attended by the Bulgarian Ambassador in Bucharest, Radko Vlaykov, and Romanian Ambassador to Bulgaria Brăndusă Predescu. Among the guests were also Claudia Nicolae, Director General of Adjerpres, Bulgarian National Radio Director General Milen Mitev and officials of the Bulgarian National television, Darik Radio and bTV Media Group, and Ruse Governor Anatoly Stanev, among others.
In his opening remarks, BTA Director General Kiril Valchev pointed out that BTA was inaugurating its 25th national press club, which is the fourth abroad after Bosilegrad (Serbia), Skopje (Republic of North Macedonia) and the press club opened the same day in Taraclia (Moldova).
