Meeting with sympathizers in the town of Troyan, Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov Saturday said he expects the party to win at least 30% more votes in Lovech Region than in the April 2023 elections. He said he feels close to that region as his roots are in the village of Vrabevo near Troyan.

Kostadinov said the party wants to see a high voter turnout and the impact of vote buying eliminated.

Vazrazhdane stands a chance of winning the second largest number of votes, or even the largest if the turnout is high, he said.

Kostadinov set five conditions for negotiations with other parties after the elections: a referendum on preserving the Bulgarian currency; a referendum on leaving NATO; ending arms aid to Ukraine and guarantees that Bulgarian troops will not be sent to the war; lifting the sanctions against Russia and compensations to Bulgarian entrepreneurs for losses due to the sanctions; and renegotiating the country's EU membership.

He ruled out cooperation with the Movement for Rights and Freedoms.
