In a congratulatory address to the Vice President of US, JD Vance, National Assembly Chair Nataliya Kiselova said that Bulgaria and the US are close and trusted allies and strategic partners, sharing common goals and interests in promoting peace, stability and progress internationally. In the address dedicated to July 4, the US Independence Day, Kiselova stated that Bulgaria attaches priority to making progress on key issues of bilateral cooperation such as security and defence, energy security, trade and investment, technology and innovation, connectivity, and is working to intensify interaction on all areas of the shared agenda for the benefit of both nations.

The Parliament Chair sent another letter to the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson. She noted the active work of the Congressional Friendship Caucus for Bulgaria the operates in the US Congress to foster the development of bilateral relations and to promote Bulgaria's advantages as a stable partner of the US.
