Bulgaria is ready to actively participate in Ukraine’s reconstruction process, GERB leader Boyko Borissov told Ukrainian Ambassador to Bulgaria Olesya Ilashchuk during a meeting. Borissov shared details about the meeting on Facebook.

During the meeting, the GERB leader highlighted Bulgaria’s capacity to contribute in key sectors such as energy, trade, shipping, and infrastructure. He noted that Bulgarian businesses and expertise could also be of value.

“I assured Ambassador Ilashchuk that Ukraine has Bulgaria’s firm support for its European future,” Borissov added. The two also discussed the ongoing military developments on Ukrainian territory.
