site.btaDefence Minister Atanas Zapryanov to Participate in NATO Defence Ministers' Meeting
Defence Minister Atanas Zapryanov will participate in the Allied Defence Ministers' Meeting, which will be held on February 13 in Brussels, the Defence Ministry said on Wednesday.
The forum will provide an opportunity to discuss and make decisions on some of the most current topics related to strengthening the Alliance's deterrent and defence potential. The main priorities for the preparation for the upcoming meeting of heads of state and government in The Hague, the Netherlands, on June 24-25 will also be outlined.
The meeting will also address a number of key issues on NATO's agenda, such as fair burden-sharing and responsibilities, the implementation of the Defense Investment Pledge, as well as the updated Defense Production Action Plan.
During the meeting, a working session of the NATO-Ukraine Council at the level of defence ministers will be held, which will discuss long-term political and practical support for Ukraine.
