Drones damaged port, transport, and residential infrastructure in the southern part of Odesa Region during the night, said Odesa Regional Military Administration chief Oleh Kiper on Telegram.

Fires broke out in several locations, including in the Danube Biosphere Reserve, but they have already been extinguished by emergency services, the statement said.

“Administrative buildings, equipment, and containers have been damaged. At least six private residential buildings have been affected. Fortunately, there are no dead or injured,” the regional governor reported.

Cleanup efforts following the attack are ongoing.

Bulgarians in the Odesa region number over 150,000 and are the third-largest ethnic group according to the latest official census in Ukraine. In the city of Odesa alone, around 50,000–60,000 Bulgarians live. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolhrad, Izmail, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts.
