Bulgaria triumphed in the individual juniors team competition at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup in Baku (Azerbaijan). The country was represented by Magdalena Valkova, Alexa Rasheva and Antoaneta Tsankova.

The gymnasts made a strong and confident performance and earned 97.750 points (25.450 on hoop, 24.450 on ball, 24.900 on clubs and 22.950 ribbon) to win the gold. The silver medal went  to the Italian team with 97.250, and in third place went to Israel with 96.800.

The judge for Bulgaria in this competition was Rada Vrazheva.
