The conditions for tourism in the mountains and in the mountain resorts are good, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross said on Saturday.

There is a broken cloud cover in the mountains, the weather will be sunny and quiet in some places. In the region of the Balkan mountain and Botev Peak, the wind will be moderate, while in the other mountain areas the wind will be light. The snow cover is between 30-40 cm.

The slopes and facilities in the winter resorts are working, with the exception of the Vetrovala ski slope in Vitosha, as well as Rila Lakes in Rila, which are closed, the MRS said.
