The Bulgarian women's national football team has been placed in Group C5 for the upcoming UEFA Women’s Nations League. Bulgaria will compete against Israel and Estonia, with matches kicking off in February 2025.
According to the preliminary schedule, the first two rounds are set to take place between February 19 and 26, followed by rounds three and four from April 2 to 8. The final rounds will be played between May 28 and June 3. Playoffs for the tournament title and promotion to higher divisions will be held in June.
The winners of each of the six groups in League C3 will advance to League B. Additionally, two of the six second-placed teams will compete in home-and-away playoffs against the two highest-ranked third-from-bottom teams from League B for potential promotion.
League C of the Women’s Nations League consists of countries ranked 33rd and below in the UEFA standings. In the previous tournament edition, the Bulgarian women’s team, led by coach Silviya Radoyska, also competed in League C in a group with Kosovo and North Macedonia, finishing second. This result led to a playoff against Ukraine, which ended in defeat for Bulgaria.
