The mountains offer good hiking conditions on Saturday, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross said, adding the weather is clear and sunny.

People should be careful when visiting the mountains early in the morning, as temperatures drop at night and there may be icing in places, the MRS said. 

No accidents involving hikers have been reported in the past 24 hours.

The weather is expected to remain mostly sunny with broken clouds emerging in the afternoon in West Bulgaria, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said.
