Saturday does not offer good conditions for mountain hiking due to the slipper terrain, the Mountain Rescue Service said on Saturday morning. It is rainy in Western Bulgaria and foggy in the higher parts of the Central Balkan Range. Temperatures vary between 7C and 10C, with a slight wind.

In this season, the weather changes quickly, temperatures drop, and the daylight hours are fewer, so mountain rescuers advise hikers to be prepared, dressed accordingly and following a route chosen in accordance with the weather conditions.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology forecasts a cloudy and rainy Saturday, with highs of 16C to 18C, up to 27C in Northwestern Bulgaria, and around 17C in Sofia.
