Bulgaria’s top female tennis player Viktoriya Tomova took a third successive win on Tuesday, qualifying for the quarterfinals of the WTA 500 tournament in Bad Homburg with a prize purse of EUR 802,237.

She defeated Linda Noskova from Czechia 6-4, 6-2 in 69 minutes.

This week Tomova reached a new career high, moving to No. 58 in the world.

By reaching this stage of the tournament Tomova scored 108 points for the WTA ranking and potentially will rank among the top 50 from Monday.
