On January 20, the resort complex Borovets will celebrate World Snow Day for the thirteenth consecutive year, reported Borosport AD.

The event is part of the International Ski Federation's large-scale World Snow Day initiative, which aims to promote snow sports among children and teach them a love for the mountains and snow.

On the occasion of the holiday, the daily lift card for all children aged 7 to 13 will be priced at BGN 1.

For the youngest guests of the resort, the Borokids children's park will also have an entrance fee of 1 BGN. For all those who want to take their first steps in winter sports, Borosport ski school will hold free ski and snowboard lessons for beginners throughout the day.

The events on the occasion of World Snow Day are part of the initiative for the promotion and development of children's winter sports, Borosport AD said.
As part of the initiative  Borosport AD  will provide free lift passes for all students from Samokov Municipality during all vacations and in one week during each of the winter months.

The night ski slopes  in the resort also opened last Friday.
