Mutual trust is essential for achieving success, and in the case of BTL Industries' new production facility in Plovdiv, that trust has clearly been established, said Czech Ambassador Miroslav Toman during the official opening of the Czech company's latest production facility.

"This facility serves as a bridge between the Czech Republic and Bulgaria, between international experts and local specialists, between high technology and the human touch," Ambassador Toman said, adding that future projects are already being planned.

BTL Industries CEO Veselin Karavasilev said that the new site occupies roughly 3 hectares and represents an investment of nearly BGN 100 million (approximately EUR 51 million).

The new plant will provide modern working conditions for over 700 employees. In the coming years, the company expects to create an additional 500 jobs.

BTL Industries, which has been operating in Plovdiv for 27 years, is a global leader in the development and production of medical equipment for physiotherapy, cardiology, and aesthetic medicine.
