No changes are expected in the proposed price of natural gas for June, Veselin Sinabov, Executive Director of state-owned distributor Bulgargaz, said during a public meeting of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) on Wednesday.
The meeting focused on Bulgargaz’s request to sell natural gas to the end suppliers and licensed companies for heat production and transmission.
Bulgargaz's proposed price for June is BGN 64.33/MWh, excluding access, transmission, excise duties, and VAT.
By comparison, the EWRC approved the price for May at BGN 64.40/MWh, meaning the proposed rate for June reflects a slight decrease of 0.11%.
The EWRC chairman has scheduled a closed meeting to make the final decision on May 30.
