site.btaBulgaria Reports Slight Increase in Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Q3 of 2024

Bulgaria's economy greenhouse gas emissions increased by 0.034% in the third quarter of 2024 compared with the same quarter of the previous year, show Eurostat data published on Friday. 

A decrease of 0.6% was reported in EU economy greenhouse gas emissions were estimated at 767 million tonnes of CO2-equivalents. 

A decrease was estimated in 16 EU Member States with the largest reductions reported in Austria (-7.8%), Hungary (-3.3%) and Denmark (-2.8%).
