Discussions on improving bilateral economic ties were held during a meeting between caretaker Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Nikolay Pavlov and the Ambassador of Mongolia Lhagvasuren Sayanaa, the Ministry of Economy and Industry's press service said on Wednesday.

Caretaker Bulgarian Economy and Industry Minister Petko Nikolov and Japan's Ambassador in Sofia Michigami Hisashi discussed ways for improving bilateral trade relations and investment.

The partnership between Bulgarian dairy company LB Bulgaricum and the Japanese dairy corporation Meiji is important for the development of the Bulgarian-Japanese cooperation. Bulgaria desires to continue the good relations and to deepen the partnership, said caretaker Economy and Industry Minister Petko Nikolov. He held a meeting with representatives of the Japanese company Meiji, who are visiting Bulgaria, the press center of the Ministry reported here on Wednesday.

New management has been appointed at LB Bulgaricum, Bulgaria's only state-owned dairy company. The Board of Directors, which has already been registered in the Commercial Register, includes Zhivko Zhivkov, Nadya Stefanova and Spasin Kraychev, the Economy and Industry Ministry said in a press release on Tuesday.

Caretaker Economy and Industry Minister Petko Nikolov held a meeting with employees of the State-owned yogurt and dairy products company LB Bulgaricum, who have taken protest actions since Tuesday, the Economy Ministry said in a press release on Wednesday.
