site.btaSandanski Hosts Second Edition of "From Farm to Table" Agri Forum

The second edition of the "From the Farm to Your Table" agricultural forum will be held on June 10 and 11 in the Sveti Vrach Park of the southern city of Sandanski, the organizers said Saturday.

Over 50 farmers from nearly all municipalities in Southeastern Bulgaria will present high-quality local Bulgarian produce at the event. The venue is organized by the Blagoevgrad Regional Directorate Agriculture together with the Ministry of Agriculture, the SW State Forestry Company, municipalities in the region and the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria. 

The project unites the sectors of agriculture, culture and tourism, the organizers said.

Opening in the morning with a presentation of the farmers and their produce, the event will continue with various entertaining spots for children and a culinary performance in the evening.

The Minister of Agriculture Kiril Vatev will unveil the forum officially at 8:30 pm. 

Along with the presentation of farmers from all over the region and the rich accompanying program, the forum also provides information about the natural attractions and cultural calendar of each of the municipalities in Blagoevgrad region. Visitors can taste and even purchase the desired product, as well as make a contact for daily shopping of high-quality food produced in the Blagoevgrad region, the organizers add.
