site.btaBase Interest Rate Raised to 2.96% as of June 1
From June 1, the base interest rate will be 2.96%, the Bulgarian National Bank said on its website on Wednesday.
The base interest rate has been rising since October 2022 when it was set at 0.49%, up from 0%.
The base interest rate was 1.42% in January, 1.82% in February, 2.17% in March, 2.47% in April and 2.77% in May.
