The concert Best of Jazz presents the best of world jazz today in the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR's) Studio 1. The event, dedicated to international cultural cooperation, is organized by the council of the European Scientific and Cultural Community and the Club of the Bulgarian Cultural and Scientific Elite as a greeting to the diplomatic missions in Bulgaria, which promote Bulgarian culture in their countries and foreign culture here, as well as to our national cultural institutions, which promote Bulgarian culture with their performances around the world, the BNR said.

The concert will feature the "Band Soloists" from the Bulgarian National Radio, a jazz formation by Mihail Yosifov, Veronika Todorova, and the Sofia Wind Orchestra.

The jazz mood will be created by the pieces Benny Goodman Memories and Sinatra in Concert with conductor Yuli Damyanov, Copacabana with conductor Vasil Deliev. Veronika Todorova will perform Tango Italiano and Carnavale by Renzo Ruggieri, Spain by Chuck Currie, Libertango and Meditango by Astor Piazzolla.

During the concert, the Golden Coin for Culture Award will be presented for active international cultural cooperation.
