A Christmas decorations workshop and a special mailbox for letters to Santa Claus gathered young and old at St. Alexander Nevsky square in central Sofia.
Children and their parents made Christmas decorations for the upcoming holidays, which will become part of the city's Christmas decoration. Santa Claus, who arrived in a special "truck of goodness" that will tour nine cities across the country in the next 20 days, brought holiday spirit and cheer to the square.
In her letter to Santa, Diana, 6, has already ordered a toy mouse and a tablet because she has been good during the year, she told BTA.
Nikki, 10, however, has not yet figured out what he wants for Christmas. "I don't know yet. I will write a letter," he said, adding that he did not remember what he received from Santa last year.
Seven-year-old Joanna wants a desk lamp and a German language book from Santa. I've written the letter, all I have to do is send it, she told BTA.
Second-grader Velin, 8, dropped his letter to Santa in the special box placed on the square. What he wants most for Christmas is to receive a drone. He wishes the other children and parents to be alive and healthy, the children to have a lot of success at school and the parents to have success in their work.
