site.btaBNR to Broadcast Radio Version of LIK Magazine

Every month, a radio version of BTA's LIK magazine will be broadcasted on the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR), BTA Director General Kiril Valchev said Saturday during the presentation of the seven special issues of LIK magazine, released since September 2023. The event is being held within the 2024 edition of the Apollonia Festival of Arts in the coastal town of Sozopol.

BNR Director General Milen Mitev said that the magazine's simultaneous presentation in all press clubs across Bulgaria and abroad corresponds with BNR's policy of spreading culture.

The LIK show will be aired on the last Sunday of every month. Assoc. Prof. Georgi Lozanov, Head of the BTA Culture, Science and Education (LIK) Directorate and his team will present the magazine and its preparation.

Mitev added that culture symbolizes freedom. "We often forget that freedom is not a given and we must protect it in order not to lose it. Part of the task of BTA and BNR is to protect culture," he noted.
