site.btaOver 4000 Participants to Take Part in Pautalia International Folklore Competition in Kyustendil
The Pautalia International Folklore Competition will open in Kyustendil on Friday with a parade of the participants, said the organizers.
During the three festival days, over 4,000 participants from Bulgaria, Switzerland and North Macedonia will perform on different stages. "The competition provides an opportunity for folklore ensembles and performers. Its goal is to preserve and promote Bulgarian folk art," said Ivan Andonov, chair of the Bratstvo 1869 Community Centre.
Kyustendil Municipality, Bratstvo 1869 and the Probuda 1961 Community Centre are the organizers of the festival.
