site.btaOmani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi to Pay Working Visit to Bulgaria on July 3

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, will be on an official visit to Bulgaria from July 2 to July 4, 2025, at the invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart, Georg Georgiev, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry’s said in a press release on Wednesday.

This will be the first-ever visit by an Omani Foreign Minister to Bulgaria since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The goal of the visit is to raise bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level and create conditions for more active cooperation between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Sultanate of Oman in key areas such as economy, trade, investment, and energy.

Official talks between Georg Georgiev and Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, along with their respective delegations, will take place on July 3, 2025, at the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry. The two ministers are expected to make statements to the media at 3:50 p.m. local time.
