Five villages in Sofia Region experience restricted water supply due to reduced flow rates from water sources, according to a report on the website of the Water Supply and Sewerage Authority in the region on Wednesday. The situation is expected to change when the flow rate normalizes, the report noted.
Two of the villages, namely Vladislavtsi and Chorul, are again on a water supply schedule, which has been ongoing since 2024 and remained unchanged during the winter months.
From July 1, by order of Anton Mayor Andrey Simov, the use of drinking water during the summer period until August 31 for irrigation, watering gardens, and green areas is prohibited. The order also applies to washing motor vehicles, as well as balconies and terraces, including swimming pools.
