Police have detained six migrants at the Montecito Hotel on Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd, the Sofia Directorate of the Interior Ministry told the Bulgarian News Agency on Wednesday. The driver of the vehicle they were in managed to flee and is currently on the run.

Around 10 a.m., the car, which had Haskovo license plates, failed to stop when signaled by a police officer. It was eventually stopped near the Montecito Hotel after a minor collision.
