A bus carrying 30 Ukrainian citizens crashed Tuesday night in the village of Vaklino, Shabla municipality, said the press centre of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Dobrich. The accident happened at around 3:30 am and the vehicle hit a fence and a billboard. According to the police, the cause of the accident was the bad weather conditions and inappropriate speed.

Teams from the Shabla Regional Police Station secured the accident site and sought assistance from the Mayor of the village of Vaklino, who managed to accommodate all Ukrainian citizens in the town hall. They were travelling to Turkiye. Around 6:00 am they left by another bus on their way.

All roads in the Dobrich region are passable in winter conditions, the Regional Road Department said. More than 40 machines are working on the treatment of road arteries.
