site.btaBAS President Meets with Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Bulgaria

The implementation of joint projects and initiatives between the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) and the Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences was discussed at a meeting between BAS President Evelina Slavcheva and Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Bulgaria Viktor Temirbaev, the BAS press center reported on Wednesday.

Among the topics of conversation were research in the field of green energy. BAS corresponding member Slavcheva introduced Temirbaev to BAS activities related to exploring the potential of hydrogen technologies.

She and the Kazakhstan's Ambassador agreed that the memorandum of cooperation signed in 2023 in Astana, Kazakhstan, between the two academies provides a framework for joint activities and emphasized their readiness to cooperate in strengthening the collaboration between the scientific communities of the two countries.
