site.btaDeputy Foreign Minister Angelieva Receives Credentials from New South Korean Ambassador Kim, Explores Expanded Bilateral Cooperation

Deputy Foreign Minister Maria Angelieva met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bulgaria, Dong-Bae Kim, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to receive copies of his credentials, the Foreign Ministry's press service said here on Tuesday.

Angelieva and Kim agreed on the significant potential for developing bilateral cooperation, especially in consideration of the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations. Ideas were discussed for commemorating the anniversary with high-level visits, another round of political consultations, the next session of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation, and various cultural and other events.

Angelieva and Kim also discussed the willingness of both countries to pursue bilateral cooperation in all areas of shared interest.
