Minister of Justice Georgi Georgiev will participate in the informal meeting of justice and home affairs ministers that will take place in Warsaw on Friday, the Justice Ministry press service said on Thursday. This is the Minister's first participation in such a format since his appointment and coincides with the first Justice Council under the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union.

EU justice ministers will discuss challenges to the rule of law and their impact on justice cooperation and the consequences of Russian war crimes in Ukraine. The future of justice through the prism of citizens' perception of justice will also be on the agenda.
