Protesters gathered in front of the building of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), declaring themselves against the candidacy of Borislav Sarafov for Prosecutor General on Thursday. The protesters were holding placards with calls to that effect.

The entire area around the SJC building was blocked, with increased police presence.

The protest was led by the leader of BOEC civil association, Georgi Georgiev. He showed documents that he claimed are part of the "archive of Petyo "the Euro" Petrov, a controversial figure, former prosecutor and head of the Sofia Investigative Service, related to the "The Eight Dwarfs" case. Some of the documents were submitted to the SJC Registry.

The gathered protesters were standing in front of the SJC building, behind specially placed fences. Recordings of Sarafov's speeches were played, in which he stated that he would not run for prosecutor general.
