National Audit Office Publishes Reports of Participants in October 27 Snap Parliamentary Elections

The Bulgarian National Audit Office (BNAO) published the reports of the participants in the October 27 snap parliamentary elections, BNAO said in a press release on Friday.

All participants – 19 political parties, 9 coalitions, and one initiative committee, submitted their reports to the BNAO within the legal deadline, which is 30 working days after election day.

The reports are available at: https://erik.bulnao.government.bg/.

The BNAO added that it has started an audit to verify the compliance of declared revenues and incurred expenses related to the participants’ election campaigns for the October 27 elections. In some cases where declared revenues and expenses related to the election campaign exceeded BGN 1,000 are being reviewed.

Declared donations and provided funds by participants in the elections for the 51st National Assembly have also been published. According to the data, there are 257 individual donors, with the total amount of donations reaching BGN 1,300,028. In-kind donations amount to BGN 263,124.

A total of 267 candidates and members of initiative committees have provided financial resources for the election campaign, totalling BGN 1,227,631.38, the press release further stated.

Non-monetary resources provided to political parties for thе election campaign amount to BGN 37,746.78.
