Continue the Change (CC) Co-Chair Assen Vassilev told journalists in Parliament that no negotiations between his party and GERB are taking place.

The CC Co-Chair replied to GERB Leader Boyko Borissov’s earlier statement that Vassilev was preventing a cabinet from being formed: “How exactly are we preventing it? Maybe you should ask him this question next time when he lies on TV.”

“We have clearly stated that we can negotiate only after [GERB has signed] the declaration on the sanitary cordon [around MRF – New Beginning Leader Peevski],” the CC Co-Chair pointed out.

"I don't know why GERB is so afraid to sign this declaration, maybe because when Peevski swings the bat at the other side, Borissov will not give up his immunity willingly," Assen Vassilev commented.
