site.btaVazrazhdane Leader Highlights Government-forming Attempts by GERB, CC-DB and "Affiliated Parties"

Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov said Wednesday that there are attempts to form a government between GERB, Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) and others, for which there is a mathematical possibility.

Kostadinov noted that there were four scenarios on Monday. The first one was: a government of GERB, MRF - New Beginning and "affiliated parties", second: GERB, CC-DB and "affiliated parties" without MRF, third - a cabinet without GERB and MRF, and the fourth scenario being new elections, which Kostadinov did not rule out.

"Since Monday we see that there is obviously a rift between [GERB leader Boyko] Borissov and [MRF - New Beginning leader Delyan] Peevski, for this reason the first option becomes unfeasible at this stage", he pointed out.

In his opinion, whether a National Assembly chair will be elected in the next few days depends on whether the ambassadors influence the parties. According to the leader of Vazrazhdane, Bulgaria's ministerial positions are decided upon in foreign embassies.
