Citizens are protesting in front of the building of the Interior Ministry because of the death of the 24-year-old motorcyclist Momchil Georgiev. The young man crashed at the beginning of April, and according to the police, there were no other participants in the accident. Relatives of Georgiev, however, believe that the young man was killed, the organizers of the protest said, and pointed out that their demonstration was about seeking the truth.

The organizers of the protest said that at the beginning of April, Momchil Georgiev was found in fields next to the road to the village of Kardam. According to the official investigation, he crashed by himself on the road. The Targovishte prosecution reported that the collected evidence did not suggest any other reasons for the man's death, apart from the traumatic injuries received in the road accident. However, according to his relatives, Momchil Georgiev was killed. The protesters demanded further investigation and justice.
