"We will not negotiate a government with Vazrazhdane," wrote on Facebook Continue the Change (CC) co-leader Kiril Petkov on Saturday. Petkov expressed his frustration with the media insinuations which are confusing the people. According to him, there are two potential majorities in the 50th National Assembly - GERB, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms and Vazrazhdane, and the Bulgarian Socialist Party, Velichie and There Is Such a People.
"Let's be clear, CC- DB cannot be part of these two majorities because we are an anti-corruption and a pro-European coalition. Our voters can be absolutely calm about that," Petkov added.
In this Parliament, all parties that talk about being anti-corruption in words should first show it in deeds by supporting the Judiciary Act, the Personal Bankruptcy Act and the Whistleblower Protection Act, which will be tabled for discussion, Petkov added. In his words, this way no time will be wasted and reforms in Bulgaria will continue, "even when a government is not possible in this Parliament," Petkov wrote.
