site.btaBurgas and Old Town of Bratislava to Sign Partnership Agreement

The Burgas Municipal Council on Tuesday supported a proposal for signing a cooperation agreement with the Old town of Bratislava, called Stare Mesto. The administrations of the two cities had previously discussed in detail how to establish friendly relations by signing an agreement on cooperation in areas such as economy, tourism, social policy, and others.

Burgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov pointed out that there are many similarities and potential for partnership between Burgas and Bratislava, especially in the fields of transport connectivity and deepening economic relations.

A representative delegation from the central metropolitan municipality of Stare Mesto will visit Burgas in May, which, according to Nikolov, will be an excellent opportunity to sign the agreement between the two municipalities.
