The Second Black Sea Security Conference will be held in Sofia on April 15 within the framework of the Crimea Platform, the Foreign Ministry in Sofia said. The event is organized by Bulgaria's and Ukraine's Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defence and the Ukrainian Centre for Defence Strategies.

Russia's military aggression against Ukraine has seriously undermined the security of the Black Sea and Azov regions and has had a direct impact on European security. The conference will discuss the latest security developments in the Black Sea region, the consequences of Russia's ongoing military aggression against Ukraine and further steps to strengthen security in the region, the Foreign Ministry said.

The implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula will also be high on the agenda.
