site.btaPresident Radev to Consult Parliamentary Groups ahead of Handing Cabinet-forming Mandate
Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev will hold consultations with representatives of the parliamentary groups in the 49th National Assembly here on Monday and Tuesday, the head of State’s Press Secretariat said.
The first to be consulted will be the largest parliamentary group, GERB-UDF, at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, followed by the second largest group, Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria, at 11:30 a.m., and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, at 2 p.m.
On Tuesday, Radev will consult representatives of the Vazrazhdane parliamentary group, at 9:30 a.m., BSP for Bulgaria, at 11:30 a.m., and There Is Such a People, at 2:00 p.m.
Outgoing Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov tendered his resignation at the National Assembly Registry Department on March 5. The following day, it was accepted by the National Assembly with 216 votes in favour. The outgoing Government Friday reported its performance over the past nine months.
