Special surveillance means (SSM) were used in respect of 2,632 persons in 2021, according to the annual report of the National Bureau for Control of Special Surveillance Means, the Bureau's head, Plamen Kolev said on Thursday, presenting the annual report on the Bureau's work in 2021 to the parliamentary Committee for Control of the Security Services, Application and Use of Special Surveillance Means and Data Access under the Electronic Communications Act.
