Bulgarian Ambassador to North Macedonia Zhelyazko Radukov and North Macedonia's Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski held a working meeting, the Interior Ministry in Skopje said on Friday.

According to the statement, the meeting focused on deepening police cooperation through an action plan or a cooperation programme between the two ministries.

At the meeting, Toshkovski invited Bulgaria's Interior Minister Daniel Mitov to make an official visit to North Macedonia, and the two sides expressed the view that it is essential to continue work on border and security cooperation, "which will also contribute to overcoming the challenges that exist between the two countries," the press release said.
